At Optical Wizardry we practice Post-produced Hybrid Virtual Production which uses camera tracking data to create a live composite image of the virtual environment and the actors on set. This helps the director, DP, and camera operator to understand how the virtual elements will interact with the actors and props. This approach was used to create The Jungle Book and has been used in recent TV series such as Revenge, Pan Am, Once Upon a Time, and American Gods.
